reply to your letter dated the 7th June, 53871/1/37, that there is no objection to the supply of the Civilian Duty and General Civilian Respirators required by the Governor of Hong Kong.

2. The latter type can be sent at once, but present stocks will permit of the immediate issue of only 13,200 of the Civilian Duty Respirators, the remainder of which it is hoped to supply in six months time.

3. The prices will be:-

CCivilian Duty type

6/6d. each.

General Civilian type 2/6d. each.

exclusive of the cost of packing and transport.

4. General Service Respirators are a matter for the War Office.

On receiving your confirmation of the suitability of the above terms, immediate instructions for despatch will be given.
